Upshaw Dental

I have been at patient at Dr. Upshaw's office for the past year and a half. In this past year, the staff has completely changed my smile, my confidence, and my outlook on dentistry. They are the most compassionate and caring staff. I haven't encountered one employee that hasn't been a delight. My hygienist is incredible, and has turned my gums around from a bad case of periodontal disease. I recently had 2 crowns on my front 2 top teeth. I have been wanting to write a review to express the elation that this has brought me, but I haven't been able to find the words to express how I feel. I don't know that I will ever be able to find those words though. I didn't realize when they told me that i needed crown my front teeth what an impact it would have on me. I cracked my front teeth in half when i was a kid and I can't remember ever having front teeth that didn't have an issue of some sort with them. My teeth have been two toned and discolored for as long as I can remember. There was also a gap in them and they were worn down from having the porcelain fillings so long. I have always been extremely insecure about my teeth and often didn't smile in pictures unless you got a candid shot. Those days are OVER! There have only been a few times in my life that I have cried tears of joy. This is definitely one of them. I sobbed when they showed me my new smile. My new front teeth are stunning. Dr. Ferrara did an OUTSTANDING job. She matched the shape of my teeth to my face shape, whitened my other teeth, and matched the shade perfectly. I can't begin to thank her, and the team, enough for the consideration and compassion that went into this procedure. I consider myself to be a joyous person. There is nothing worse than being happy and cracking a big smile only to have to immediately retract it because you are concerned with what people will think about your teeth. Well, those days are over for me. I have gotten more compliments on my smile in the last 2 weeks than in my entire life, from strangers as well as people I know. I am obsessed with how great my smile is now because I never thought it could be that way. If you are looking for a great dentist, I highly recommend this office! They are the best!
