4Dr. Lee’s staff sent a bill for a regular cleaning to a debt collector with 0 warning. I’d spoken to his office manager about it and she agreed that the visit was something insurance should cover (as did my insurance, it turned out to be a system error and they paid it eventually), and that she’d wait for the resubmission of the claim to work its way through. Next I knew I was getting harassed by a debt collector over $80 and being charged exorbitant interest. I have paid his practice thousands of dollars out of pocket and through insurance over the nearly 6 years I was his patient, and was shocked to be thrown to the dogs like this. When I told his office manager that I no longer wanted to do business with them as a result of it she replied that that was fine because she had released me as a patient. Incredibly unprofessional. I sincerely regret ever being a patient of his poorly managed practice.
