I only came in for a consultation and my first initial consultation went great! In this moment, I am not considered a patient of Dr. Gray, however, everyone knows that first impressions are just important when trying to consider a new doctor. In my experience, I ran late due to traffic. I live in Riverdale, Ga and work in Roswell, Ga. and work a lot so the only convenient time for an appointment was 8AM. Due to tons of traffic, I arrived at 8:30 AM and had already called in to the office. Instead of canceling my appointment, I mentioned that I would still like to take my tests for the consult and maybe schedule to return to meet with Dr. Gray. The staff was really friend and great to converse with and when it came to giving me a quick overview of my x-rays and photos. Then to my surprise, the assistant told me Dr. Gray was coming to see me. I asked the assistant that I thought he may be busy with his other appointments and I didn't want to intrude in his ongoing appointment, and they mentioned that he wanted to meet me and just squeeze me into his schedule. When I met him, he was just the nicest and humorous person and was so friendly. I know not all the time will a doctor be able to squeeze anyone into their busy schedule, but I thought this was such a humbling action because he made an effort. After a discussion and recommendations before departing to his other client, he wished me well and said that he'll be excited for me to become one of his patients in the future. I love that he came off as a very understanding and personable character and I do look forward to him becoming my orthodontist. After he had left, the staff surprised me with a ribbon-wrapped candy combo that said Happy Birthday because my appointment was actually on my birthday. That easily made me happy. After that experience, instead of looking elsewhere for an orthodontic doctor and dentist, I think I may have found what I was looking for. The doctor visit isn't out of the wazoo and the dentistry downstairs can work hand in hand with Mr. Gray upstairs. It's like everything I need in one area with great timing for me to schedule with my work hours! Now time to cancel other appoints with other doctors! I hope this helps!
