The worst a dentist can be. Totally callous and uncaring especially towards the elderly and handicapped. Treated me very badly when I traveled for over an hour to his office for a dental cleaning and then did not allow the hygienist to clean by teeth because he wanted more money for gum treatment. Run the other way from this man..
Do not go to this dentist. He did not listen and was poor. Old office gross. He does not listen to patient concerns..
Went to my appointment last week and the office was closed, gone. They did not notify us and now we don't know how to get our 21 years of records..
Dr. Rader and his staff are the best at what they do. I have been a patient for over 15 years and have been extremely satisfied. I trusted Dr. Rader to to a complete crown replacement of my front teeth from veneers and I could not be happier with the result. I am constantly getting compliments on my beautiful smile and I owe it all to Dr. Rader and his staff!.
Moving from a smaller city in Central Illinois when looking for a dentist I didn't want a dentist that was a cookie cutter business. Dr. Morris and her staff are definitely not that, in fact if I didn't know better I would think they were in small town the way they get to know their patients. My initial visit to the office I found out I need a root canal & crown for the first time and was beyond scared. Dr. Morris took the time to make sure I understood what was going to happen every step of the way and to assure me everything was going to be ok. She earned my trust and business! I tell all of my friends to go see Dr. Morris!.
Dr. Mitzi's Zoom! promotion on Groupon brought me here earlier this month. I've used Crest home whitening kits before, and they have been pretty effective, according friends. However, I strive for REALLY pearly white enamel. It's almost a ridiculous obsession. I wasn't able to make an appointment until January, even though the Groupon was purchased in October. Donna, the receptionist is really professional. She explained to me prior to my visit, to take some form of pain medicine before the treatment and to bring along an mp3 player as the procedure generally takes ~1 hr. In reality, I was at the office for more than 1.5 hrs. I would appreciate it if they sent an appt reminder. Prior to the treatment, I had to fill out a questionnaire form. Then, I had a brief consultation with Dr. Morris. She was very friendly and personable. It turns out we both grew up in the same town. Dixie was actually the person who administered the bleaching treatment. She also was very nice and conscientious. I guess they do a lot of bleaching. Along with the Groupon deal, she was promoting custom-made dental trays with Zoom bleach to administer at home for $100. The trays alone are typically +$250 or other, according to her. The bleach is good for ~6 at home treatments. Before committing to Zoom!, I read a lot of reviews about teeth sensitivity and burnt tongues, lips, gums, etc. I really did appreciate Dixie's conscientious, without me having to say a word. She took special care to cover my gums and lips. She gave me clear directions and precautions as well. In the reviews I read, people did the bleach in 4 successions, I only did it in 3. Each session lasted ~15 minutes. There's a loud ring to warn the specialist when there's ~3 minutes left. The bleaching machine also rings when time is up. Prior to letting the bleach set, Dixie gave me a bell to ring if I needed her. The first session went fine. In the 2nd session, I felt the "zing" people mentioned on 2 of my lower teeth. They were tolerable. In the 3rd and final session, I felt zings on my upper front teeth and few of my lower teeth. This is after having taken a total of 4 Aleve. Honestly, the last few zings were terrible, almost unbearable, even though it was fleeting pain. The rest of the afternoon, I felt occasional zings. However, I was fine the next day. I guess the most important piece of information here is, how does my teeth look? I took a before and after pic. In my honest opinion, it is whiter, but barely. Of course, when I asked Daniel B., he said it is noticeably whiter. Then how come no one else said anything about it?!When I left, Dixie handed me a goody bag. The professionalism of Dr. Mitzi's team makes me want to change dental offices. They seem genuine and unobtrusive ; really professional and courteous. One week after my visit, I received a letter personally signed by Dr. Morris, offering x-ray, cleaning, and more bleach for half its retail price. Clearly, she wants to retain my business. It was professional and courteous; I appreciate the effort..
