The only reason I gave two stars was because of his awesome staff. They were so kind and informative. This dentist, however, was extremely unprofessional. If I'd not had several xrays and exams from my regular dentist & new orthodontist in the past few months, I probably would have fallen for Dr Marcano's "you need dental work" spiel. After blowing cold air on my gums for an excessively long time then scraping my front tooth so hard repeatedly, which I think now was an effort to get a natural occlusion to break or chip while in his office, he said i needed two fillings immediately. When I told him I didn't need fillings, as I'd had multiple xrays & exams in recent weeks and he was simply looking in my mouth, he became very agitated and said he wouldn't do the whitening treatment I'd purchased unless I got this "necessary" work first. His demeanor caused me to cancel my Groupon due to lack of trust in his abilities, which is disappointing because I've used a Groupon whitening treatment at two other dentists with no problems whatsoever. I think this doctor is using the Groupon promotion to get people in the door then sell them on expensive dental work they don't need. I'm at the dentist every 6 months, so I can confidently say my teeth are in great shape. Those who don't have that confidence could absolutely be swindled into costly repairs on healthy teeth. Very unimpressed with every aspect of this dentist except for his staff. Beware of this charlaton!!
