How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
1I don't usually write negative reviews, but I had an awful experience at this dentist's office. I travel on business, finding dentists in various cities willing to give me routine checkups and cleanings, and until now have had only positive results. I found Dr. Gonzalez insensitive and patronizing, and the cleaning method he used, the Proxy-jet, was unpleasant, and sometimes painful. My face and neck was constantly showered with water and gritty pieces of tooth polish, my tongue burned with the pressure of the water jet, and there was no attempt to protect me with goggles or periodically wipe up the water. The dentist was rough and unapologetic, and when I complained that the tooth polish tasted bitter, he seemed to take it personally. His last words to me were, "Stay away from coffee." In today's world, dentistry doesn't have to be like this. This office is not keeping up with modern standards of patient care, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The office doesn't sell any tooth whitening products, since Dr. Gonzalez believes them to be abrasive. The only positive thing I can report is that the cleaning was thorough, hence my 2 star rating.
