Dr R Allen Chumbler

I am an old timer, 78 years old. I remember when root canals used to be feared because of the pain. Perhaps you can imagine my surprise after a root canal from Dr. Chumbler a couple of days ago, without any pain during or after the procedure. He told me there has been tremendous advances in previous years to alleviate pain during the process. I was impressed with the technology he used and the entire procedure. His assistant was very solicitous of my well being, before, during, and after. I was surprised when the numbness of the (painless) injection wore off and I still didn\'t feel any soreness in the area. I wish all of life could be as painless as a root canal. Never thought I\'d say that.
