1HORRIBLE SERVICE, FEEL DEFRAUDED. I had a crown that chipped and came to Lakeview Dental for a replacement. Dr. Hirschfield said that he would not warranty any crown replacement without me first having a crown lengthening procedure down by a different doctor who comes to the Lakeview Dental office once per month. The crown lengthening procedure essentially entails someone having a chunk of their gums removed. The dentist's office ran the procedure through their system to let me know who much of the cost would be covered by insurance and how much I would be responsible for. The total cost was $1259 and the dentist told me that I would be reimbursed $880 from the insurance company. I decided to have the procedure done based on these figures. A couple weeks later, I received my reimbursement check from the insurance company and I was shocked that it was only for $362. I called the dentist's office and they pretty much told me that it was my problem. I feel like the dentist's office told me I would get a much larger insurance reimbursement so I would schedule the procedure without any regard to what I was really going to receive back from insurance. I would never recommend this office and will never go back.
