Saumeen Sudhir Desai

I moved to Houston from Baton Rouge back in 2013. I was very nervous to find a new endocrinologist as I'd been visiting the same one for my entire life until the move. Dr. Desai immediately made me feel comfortable. She is easily the most competent and caring doctor I've ever visited. The first thing that stood out to me about her was that she treated me like a human, not just a patient - she understood that I am a type 1 diabetic with a sweet tooth and gave me earnest feedback on eating in moderation rather than telling me to avoid sugar like the plague. She is also aware of the latest technologies and provides innovative solutions for issues that I bring to her attention. Last but not least, Dr. Desai listens to all questions and concerns and answers each one in a non-rushed and thorough manner. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone seeking an endocrinologist.
