13I had a standard cleaning with Dr. Gennero. The facility was nice and the service they performed on my teeth was good. The staff was friendly but deceptive which is the reason for the poor review and also why I canceled my future appointments with them. I called the office as a new patient and was immediately emailed paperwork to fill out, as well as called repeatedly until I returned the paperwork back. I sent them my insurance information to verify coverages etc. They were extremely responsive at this time. After all my paperwork was turned in, I began inquiring about what my cleaning was going to cost me after my insurance was applied. Received no answer after multiple emails. Which was odd to me, given the quick response time with other questions. So I never received an answer and the morning of the appt, I showed up and told them I was not going through with services unless they quoted me a cost after insurance, ahead of time. They then told me there would be no cost after my insurance except for 24$ fluoride treatment. I was happy with that and they performed my cleaning. A couple of weeks later I get a bill for over 200$ that my insurance did not cover. Not only do they charge 400$ for a cleaning, they are deceptive about it and will do anything to get you in the chair. I will not be going back here and unless you have extremely favorable dental insurance, be prepared to pay a high amount for a standard cleaning.
