My son had his 4 wisdom extracted at Lisle Advanced Dental on Saturday December 10th. They don\'t sedate patients, even though on their website they claim they do. I spoke with the receptionist and we created a treatment plan for him to take a muscle relaxer (prior), nitrous oxide and of course Novocain. Even though Dr. Patel doesn\'t perform the extractions, he came out several times to let us know a few of his teeth were difficult to extract but my son was fine and wasn\'t in any pain. The entire time I assumed he was given gas to help him relax, but he wasn\'t, nor did they offer it to him, even though it was part of the treatment plan. After we left he said he felt a good portion of the extraction, cutting/pulling into his gums and the ice cold blast of air sprayed on his nerves. Not even the Novocain was administered correctly, just a quick thrust of the plunger....and obviously not enough because he was in constant pain throughout the entire procedure. He kept telling the doctor

Terrible experience — was inexperienced and did unnecessary work on me. Was referred from another doctor. Did damage to my mouth and had to have an implant put in after.
