My husband and I were traveling through Camp Verde for New Years when a wire on his braces came loose and stabbed him in the inside of his cheek. None of the emergency rooms in the area could help. It was late in the day on Dec 30, and all dentist offices were closed. I called several dental offices in Flagstaff and finally got the cell number for Dr. Brad Lerud. I left a message and he called me back right away. He does not work on braces, but gave me the information for two doctors in Flagstaff who do. He called me back a short time later to say that he would come into the office on the next day to try and help. In the meantime, my husband was able to completely remove the inside wire portion of his braces. I am so impressed with Dr Lerud. I sincerely appreciate his willingness to go out of his way for someone who is not even his patient. If we lived in Flagstaff, he would be our dentist!
