5I was told about this place from a lady in my book club and boy!! I'm so Thankful for learning of them. Let me tell ya from the moment I stepped up to the entrance from security & guide they greeted me very nicely. The receptionist was very nice. Anyway I needed a Root Canal which even with dental insurance is very expensive out of pocket. So I went up stairs they were very nice here as well, Deandra, Brittany & Dr Christensen (who by the way was very funny, real good sense of humor) they were all great & performed great team work. (The dream team) you do pay with your time, but I had plenty of time and didn't mind at all. I got the root canal done, let me tell ya I didn't feel a thing, no discomfort whatsoever!! They talked to me throughout the procedure and made sure I was ok, in which I was. I left a very Happy customer, and would certainly recommend them at Midwestern Specialty clinics. Oh I haven't even told ya there BEST PART OF IT ALL!! The procedure was #FREE $0.00 For the root canal that would have cost a grip out of pocket at my regular dentist (whom I love by the way) thank you all so much! I appreciate the services you provided to me!!

2Stay away from Kelli Christensen. A clear case of dental malpractice/negligence, which caused me almost two yeas of excruciating pain and $6,000 to replace her work. Christensen placed two onlays and a crown. She made the crown/onlays too high and to the side, causing severe bite misalignment. My jaw alignment got completely messed up, causing severe pain in the jaw and severe bruising of my entire side. I was in DEBILITATING PAIN for months, TREMENDOUS TMJ problems, and by the end my nerve got affected and I started having migraines. I had to look for a TMJ specialist and I HAD TO REDO ALL THE WORK SHE HAS DONE. The level of pain, suffering, and financial damage she caused is absolutely unbelievable. I returned to her multiple times because I was in SEVERE PAIN and she kept claiming that the crown is fine, and would r-e-f-u-s-e to adjust it more than a negligible amount. She did not even consider, let alone admit, that she did not take the impressions properly. She even sent me to a root canal specialist--who thought the root was perfectly fine and insisted it was HER JOB to adjust a grossly misfitted crown. After having to deal with her denial and attitude multiple times it became clear to me that I was dealing with an incompetent dentist who treated me with prejudice, and who was unable to listen to her clients and acknowledge their experiences. She made me feel multiple times like I was the "crazy" one. Kelli Christensen subsequently ignored my requests for an explanation and referred me to the manager of Manus, Robin Stafford (who also goes by Robin Gay). Robin Stafford/Gay also ignored my kind requests for response and a resolution.Overall, I was not only in severe pain because of her gross incompetence, but was also extremely offended because of the way I was treated. With so much incompetence, prejudice, and dismissal, I had no choice but report Kelli Christensen her to the Illinois Dental Board/Society and to my insurance.
