75Do not go to Dr. Nabors for general dentistry. I was completely taken advantage of. I was told I have periodontal disease/gingivitis which required two deep scaling treatments (they take about 30 min), a water pik, and antibiotics. The day they told me they made this sound so urgent and immediately wanted to take about a “payment plan”. I take really good care of my teeth and myself so I was worried by their reaction and just said ok, I want to do the treatment. I was charged 1500 AFTER insurance. My insurance covered $750. Come to find out, they completely scammed me and over charged for this treatment and procedure. Dentist friends of mine out of state looked at my charts that I requested from Dr.Nabors office and told me the amount of money charged was unheard of. Most people pay around $150-200 out of pocket after insurance. I should have gotten a second opinion but just know that they are willing to do this to you. They are that type of dental practice.
