Dr. Mark Bronsky, DMD

RE: MARK BRONSKY, NY Up front, I outlined three issues that I could not compromise. Bronsky violated all three boundaries. I arrived with healthy teeth, jaw calcium/gums, confirmed by my Dentist. He told me that my issue(s) couldn’t be resolved with Invisalign. I was compelled to depart his practice with ongoing pain, the inability to chew, a split necrotic gum, drastic weight loss and a mineral deficiency, resembling symptoms of a walking pneumonia. The deficiency was confirmed by an immunologist’s tests. Bronsky brought my teeth so far forward they changed my lip posture. I pleaded for a different process, something to bring my teeth back to their former position. He told me that I would need four teeth removed – which looking back was unnecessary and sounded like bullying. I made an appointment to see him about discussing another path…another process which was confirmed by his office admin. Upon arrival, the first words out of his mouth were, “now that you’ve gotten a second opinion, I have to consider whether I want to consider continuing to work with you”. There was no discussion of ‘new path’, no discussion of collaboration with the second Ortho’s opinion or of getting another option with his own partners. A second full process with another Ortho and periodontal surgery helped me get back to a place where I could chew again. Invisalign was used. My Ortho, Periodontist and Dentist all collaborated. This was further proof that collaboration amongst professionals was not unusual or a rude expectation by a patient. I gave my new Ortho permission to contact Bronsky for my history. He asked her about the future process. She politely declined and said: “that’s between me and XX”. Know your privacy rights per HIPPA laws. Research the online case of "Septimus vs Matos (Bronsky's partner). This behavior speaks volumes. Bronsky wouldn't return pre-paid money for a retainer fitting and creation – never performed. He tried getting me to sign an NDA before reimbursement. I refused. I took him to Small Claims Court pro se. He had a lawyer. I WON. NOTE: when you pay for a product or service in this country that you never receive you are legally entitled to get your money back. If you've had a bad experience with Bronsky, write to the NYS Licensing Department. If he's charged you with an inappropriate fee, or inappropriately withheld a retainer fee when not going forward with him, contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and/or report it to your credit card company. .

Gendel Marina DDS

What do you call a dentist who doesn’t know how to perform implants properly, but attempts them anyway? What do you call a dentist who cuts corners when a complex surgery is involved? What do you call a dentist who pockets your money and denies any responsibility for the damage she caused? Now I know to call her Dr. Gendel. I made the mistake of coming to her for an implant, which cost me a great deal of pain, time, and money. I did not question her judgement when she said she could install it without a bone graft. (Only later she admitted she cannot perform a bone graft). I did not think twice about signing a standard consent form acknowledging potential risks of treatment (partly because I was already in the chair with one cheek going numb when she shoved this paper in my hand). I did not suspect that this consent form will be her “catch-all” cover for negligence and incompetence. A few weeks after Dr. Gendel finished her work, I had a failed implant and an infection. In despair, I sought advice from other dentists, which made me realize that she skipped some critical steps (x-rays, CT scan, cleaning, follow ups, and possibly more). When I reached out to her office, she told me to “wait for the implant to fall out” and tried to treat the infection with antibiotics. Her story about my diagnosis and remediation kept changing each time things didn’t magically heal on their own. Feeling scared, overwhelmed and hoping for some professional integrity, I asked her to refund me the cost of treatment so I could use the money towards remediation… How did Dr. Gendel respond? No empathy, no show of concern, no offer to help… she said that she’s keeping all the payments and that I signed the consent form, which somehow means SHE TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING..

Tristan Lue DDS

MAJOR INFECTION DUE TO BOTCHED ROOT CANAL Dr. Tristan Lue performed a root canal on my molar #19 in June 2019. During the treatment, he missed a distal root and sealed up my tooth, causing bacteria to grow along my gum and soft tissue, causing an infection so major that I had to have my tooth extracted. It is known that when a distal root is missed and not treated during a root canal, an infection will develop and spread. I had been treated by Dr. Lue six times over the past year. Each visit I complained of pain, inflammation and discomfort, and not once did Dr. Lue detect an infection. Finally, I got a second opinion. I learned that not only was the tooth Dr. Lue treated infected on the outside of my gum, it was infected all the way down to the bone and soft tissue in the root of the tooth. The tooth was beyond repair and could not be saved. I had tried to resolve this issue with Dr. Tristan Lue and the Dental Arts of Orange County, but they have proven to be deceitful, lacking integrity by acting against me, rather than trying to help me mend the situation that they caused. They have failed to take proper care of my tooth and failed to take proper care of me as a patient. I have scans and medical reports from two different specialists that prove Dr. Lue’s negligence and incompetence with the root canal procedure he had performed on my tooth. I have proof of email exchanges between Agnus the administrator and I, which reveal her refusal to send me medical reports, and Dr. Lue’s refusal to answer any questions I had about his treatment with my root canal. There is so much more to this story and I am willing to share all of it with you because it is my hope to save someone from the horror Dr. Lue and Dental Arts of Orange County have put me through..
