Kendal Carlson DMD

Just wondering why Google says this review is recent? I wrote this over 5 years ago! I have bad gum recession in several parts of my mouth, due to bruxism. So, cleaning and really any dental procedures can be VERY painful. I've only been in Denver 4 years, and tried 3 other dentists before finding Dr. Carlson. The other dentists, or their hygienists, simply couldn't deal with my pain level. I remember one hygienist getting totally angry at me when I kept stopping her. I also had hygienists tell me that no, they HAD to use metal tools in my mouth. Finally I found Dr. Carlson (I think from reading the other two reviews here). Not only was his staff entirely understanding and accomodating of my pain threshold, he also convinced me to get some bonding in the worst areas of my mouth, that has greatly helped. Also, his whole staff, from the hygienists to the receiptionist, are amazingly pleasant and professional. And Dr. Carlson himself is warm and interested; his staff must take their attitudes from him. My husband's a medical doctor, and has different issues with his teeth. He also likes Dr. Carlson, and he's very particular about his health care.
