Dr. Jeffrey Vorsanger is cold and rude and callous. It is next to impossible to reach him on the phone when calling for test results etc. He advised me to have surgery over 5 years ago that was not needed. He is not a good diagnostician. In addition his morals and ethics leave a lot to be desired. As the partner in this practice he is also the employer of Dr. Jane Schlecker (his wife) who was have a relationship/affair with a patient. It took about a year before he made her end the relationship. She was brought up on professional charges and sanctioned by the department of health, however I feel as her employer this relationship /affair should have been stopped immediately as he became aware of it and I personally believe he should have been sanctioned too. Either way he lacks morals, he lacks bedside manner, (I guess his wife gives out all the "bedside manner" in that practice) and he lacks compassion and he makes it very difficult to follow up needed medical care if it takes days to get lab resultd. This was my experience with Dr. Vorsanger and his employer and wife Dr. Jane Schlecker. No I DO NOT RECOMMEND this doctor. In addition to this last week when I went to get on the elevator in the medical building his office is in he demanded that I take another elevator, when I refused to he assaulted me.Although he is no longer my doctor this is inexcusable behavior from anyone let alone a doctor who pretty much takes an oath to never harm.
