2I made an appt with an ‘In Network’ periodontist who recommended a procedure (a deep cleaning) for which I later found I’m covered 50%. Rather than them filing a claim, then billing me, they demand hundreds upfront yet said if monies are owed, it will be determined through my insurance company. Once I pay, they make an Out of Network DDS do the procedure. They file 2 claims, both In and Out of Network, asking for 10 times more than what I was covered. I explaining the error but did nothing to resolve the issue. Insurance company overturned the Out of Network claim and awarded us both monies, payment sent to them. They tell the insurance company they agree to remit my monies once they cash check. They cash the check and refuse to pay me. Please make sure you check your insurance benefits and your statements from insurance claims so that you don’t get ripped off.
