5This office is ridiculous. Though the people may be nice that only goes so far. The only reason I even give two stars is because ever person I ever interacted with was very nice. To begin with let me describe calling the office: First, you get the phone prompts to press 1 if you are a new patient or 2 if you are an established patient, so you press 2â¦and then you get the phone prompts to press 1 if you are a new patient or 2 if you are an established patient, so you press 2 (yes, you do the same thing twice). You are then given the business hours, which donât match whatâs on their website. Most businesses do this if you are calling outside of the normal business hours, but no, you are well within the timeframes. This is then followed by different promptsâ¦none of which ever actually get you to a person, just voicemailâ¦unless the voice mailbox is full, which means you canât even leave a message. I have tried many, many times to call someone and out of those many, many times I have actually spoken with someone exactly one time. On to my actual dental experiences. I had a new patient appointment scheduled for February. I received a voicemail that week reminding me of my appointmentâ¦or so I thought. So I show up later that week for my appointment, just to find out that I apparently cancelled my appointment. Considering neither I nor my wife ever contacted the office to cancel the appointment I donât know how this could happen. So I rescheduled for the next available time, which was more than a month later. What I found out come March is that when they do the reminder call you have to call back to confirm your appointment or your appointment gets cancelled. So I try and try and try to call back to confirm and finally get someone to confirm (this is my one time talking to someone on the phone). So I go to the appointment and they have me under my fatherâs information. My father has never been to this office before and has a completely different insurance than I do. I gave them this information when I set up the original appointment. We assume that a dentist he saw at some point joined their practice and had his files. I go back to get my teeth checked and all goes smoothly here. The hygienist is very nice and after she is done the dentist comes in, who is also very nice. He spends about five minutes with me and tells me they want to set up a time to do the routine cleaning. No biggie since this was an initial checkup with a new dentist. I go to billing and scheduling where the woman brings up my account and she looks a bit confused. So she asks me my birthday and says that the one she has on file is for 25 years earlier than that, my fatherâs birthday (I thought this was fixed). So we get that little snafu fixed and I schedule a cleaning in May. May comes along and I go to my cleaning. I get taken back a little late, but thatâs no big deal. The new hygienist is very nice, explains things well, and sends me on my way. I am told to sit in the waiting area while the scheduler/biller finishes up with someone else. So I sit there, and sit there, and sit there for half an hour. I finally say something and though apologetic they act like I should have known to mention something. Apparently the paperwork wasnât taken off of the printer and given to the scheduler. So I schedule a follow-on appointment for August. August comes around and I get a call that my hygienist has left the practice and they need to reschedule. So they tell me they can see me the next dayâ¦ummmâ¦like I can just drop everything in work and life like that. And when is the next available? October. Letâs see, your employee left your organization and I get penalized for it? There are multiple hygienists and dentists at this office. On top of this I get letters in the mail saying that my insurance hasnât processed the claim for May. I contact the insurance company and they have no record of the claim. So they try to contact the officeâ¦and canât get in touch with anyone because nobody ever answers the phone.
