If you are looking for a caring, local family dentist I highly recommend that you interview Dr. Hallock and her staff. I have been with her and her team for a couple of years now. My entire family of 6 use Dr. Hallock. Every experience we have had has been over the top. I do not expect anything less from this team now and doubt I will get anything less. From the moment the phone is answered until you walk out the door you will meet a staff that loves their job.You have the opportunity to have the same dental hygienist serve your entire family every visit. I have referred several families to Dr. Hallock and her team. It feels good to refer friends and know they are going to be taken care of just like me and my family because they have been trained properly and are committed to their patients. I want to leave you with two examples of what I am talking about: 1. My three and a half year old son has been in the office during my visits for over a year now. The goal, at my request was to get him comfortable with the environment and ready for his first visit. Did we meet that goal? Yes, he sat in the chair just like dad and allowed our family hygienist (Dory) to check him out and clean his teeth. She is very kid friendly and said something to my son that was absolutely genius...she told him it is important to get the "sugar bugs" out of his mouth after every snack and meal. Absolutely amazing what that has done for my son at this young age. He brushes his teeth by himself, as needed (at least 3 times a day, yeah!) and has me or his mom rinse the "sugar bugs" down the sink drain while he opens his mouth to ask us "did I get all the sugar bugs out?". Stress free because of their training and commitment. 2. Over the weekend my wife was having some trouble with pain in her tooth. At 8:00 am this morning I called the office to explain what was happening. At 8:05 I got a call back and due to a cancellation my wife was in the dental chair before 8:30. Obviously this can't happen every time and there was a stroke of luck with it but the point is, they went the extra mile to make it happen. Mike F.
