A very unsatisfactory experience with Dr. Sekhon. She performed a surface filling at my first appointment in September of 2022 which later felt very rough on the outside and inside, with this tooth being my very front tooth on the upper right of my mouth. I mentioned that at my next appointment and Dr. Sekhon did her best to smooth it over and now the fracture in that front upper tooth is visible again. After she smoothed it out, I voiced my concern about the tooth to the right of that one, which fractured from the three tooth bridge behind it pushing up against it. So she worked on that one and apparently performed a root canal with a temporary filling behind it. First root canal that I’ve received which has not been crowned right away(most of the ftont of the tooth is still there, how is that holding in there if I don’t have the natural roots or capping?) Later that day I brushed my teeth and the temporary filling fell out of my mouth and into the sink. I called California’s Health Care Services to voice my concern for anyone else visiting her office and was not surprised to hear that Dr.Sekhon’s office billed my medi-cal insurance for working on five teeth over both appointments when only one tooth at each appointment was worked on. Which is a total of two teeth, not five. I live a couple hours away and could not just pop into their office real quick to have them fix their mistakes. The receptionist was rude and hung up on me(a pissed off patient on the line) before we could conclude anything so I fired her butt from ever sticking her fingers in my mouth again! Zero starts if I could!!!.
Also I forgot to mention that three days after starting the penicillin antibiotics Dr.Sekhon prescribed to me I got a terrible tummy flu for 16 days so far. Body aches, headaches, stiffness, runny nose. I believe the antibiotics killed my immune system and who knows maybe I caught the virus from their office and it was finally able to get to me. I haven’t been sick in years, I haven’t taken antibiotics in years. Very frustrating and I highly recommend taking antibiotics only if you already have an infection..
