I am a new patient and there's been good and bad with this office. I came here after leaving a dentist I had been with 20 years. I only had 1 cavity in 30 years after getting braces off....so he told me. I get all my xrays and cleanings I'm supposed to. I went to Dr Crider after all my family members wound up with dental issues after leaving the same dentist I had gone to. I found out I needed fillings and the tooth that was sore from "night grinding" actually was my old filling having further decay and I needed a root canal. The good is that Dr Crider is very down to earth. Everyone in the office is kind. I like that they have phone, email, and text which makes things easy and convenient. I like that they have more advanced technology than my old dentist and very clearly explained everything they were doing. They spend a good deal of time going over results and the plan which I really appreciate. From the clinical perspective I really like this office. Emily has also been really helpful in answering questions from the billing office. The billing office has also been helpful in working out plans for my budget. The not so good is more from the billing and scheduling. It sometimes takes a couple months to get in. I had to reschedule after getting a infection from a root canal and they put me in for a time I would not have agreed to. They knew I was going through personal difficulties and cannot allocate time off at this time to go to appointments, so we had to put the appointment pretty far out specifically to accommodate me after work because they didn't have any 3pm appointments any sooner. I get a call this morning confirming an appointment at 9:30am and I was very upset. They did not take responsibility for this and their only options were to do some work tomorrow, and the rest 2 months from now. I already had to wait for this appointment. I get that things happen, but when the mistake isn't a fault of mine which I have proof of, I would hope that they would try to find a way to be more accommodating. Even if we did have to split into a couple appointments but sooner.....but what they may sometimes lack in scheduling ability they make up 99.9% of the time in kindness and compassionI am optimistic that here on out things will be better...it's difficult because I really like DR Crider but the scheduling problems have been tough. Being busy is good, it means she is a good Dr. Once the major stuff is fixed hopefully it will just be biannual cleaning. There's been a mix of good and bad, but hopefully things will be good going forward...2/20/18 Dr Crider did an excellent job getting me taken care of.
