Dr. Mary Fischer is one of the finest dentists I have ever experienced . I have been alive quite awhile, and have had dentists and would be dentists . You see in my book dentists are like mechanics They either know how to tackle a problem and fix it with confidence or they don\'t . This lady has been doing this a long time as she once told me in the beginning I have been in St Johns for many years and I have seen the good the bad, and the ugly . And she was right. She fixed me and talked me out of false teeth and saved all my good teeth . She point blank said you will not like them, and she made me a partial . DR Mellum is very patient with you and treats you with respect. He will explain what he is doing so you understand. I started with his father who was also great and I think it runs in the family. So happy to have him as our family dentist.

He tried to make the swelling in my cheek from abscess formation go down by cutting into my cheek from the inside with a surgical knife to release the blood when all I needed was antibiotics. Sadly, the swelling didn\'t even go down. When I asked him what he was about to do, he said just close your eyes.. don\'t look. I haven\'t cried like that from pain since I was 10yrs Old.
