Professional Statement
Robert H. Henkel, DDS, earned his dental degree from Northwestern University Dental School, after receiving his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago. Prior to entering private practice, he completed a Fellowship in Anesthesiology from The Medical College of Pennsylvania. His extensive postgraduate continuing education has focused on reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry, periodontal surgery, and implant placement. Dr. Henkel is a founding member of and leader in the local Spear Study Club. Training in 3D imaging and its use in immediate implant placement keeps Dr. Henkel on the forefront of technology. He serves as a clinical instructor for CEREC™ one-visit crowns and has been featured in the local paper and Dentaltown magazine. Dr. Henkel is proud to be a recipient of the Award for Excellence from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (relating to the upper jaw and face). He and his wife Liz have two beautiful children, and in his spare time he enjoys road and mountain biking, golf, skiing, archery, and shooting sports.
