Retainer Emergency I called Dr. Shah’s office with an emergency, my upper fixed retainer had come loose on one tooth. First Dr. Shah’s office was able to accommodate me on short notice and on a Saturday. What impressed me more, was the way in which the adhesive was applied. That was the work of an artist/perfectionist! I have had similar work in the past and often Dr’s will apply glue without the necessary smoothing or finessing.
