1I was very disapointed in the service at this local office. The doctor spent less than five minutes in the room with me and did give me time to ask any of the questions I had written on my intake forms and asked the nurse. He also did not say a word to me about the cavities in my mouth, he just handed me off to a hygenist for my cleaning. She was the one who confirmed my suspicions about the cavities, not the dentist! The hygenist seemed rush and she preformed my "cleaning" in less than ten minutes total. She did not remove all the plaque from my teeth, and when she was finished she did not even offer me water to rinse my mouth out with. I had to request a glass of water after a cleaning, and she acted like it was a big deal to give me a disposable cup! Also, the dentist did not come in to take a look at my teeth at all- he did not even check the cleaning she did. I was given the distinct impression that he had better things to do than deal with his patients. The quality of my visit was so poor I am filing a claim with my insurance so I can get a real cleaning without having to wait six months. I live in Westmont and it was really sad to see such poor service performed by a local professional. My insurance is allowing me an "emergency" switch of providers, I would not recommend anyone choosing this office for a care provider. Aside from the horrible service, the office itself was dirty, dingy and stunk like mildew. I thought I had accidently stumbled into a third world dental office, not a place in downtown Westmont! The patient bathroom was located in the waiting room, and not only was it filthy, but it did not even have a lock on the door! Anyone from the waiting room could have wandered in while I was using it. The entire office stunk horribly like mildew, and I really don't understand how they can run a medical establishment in such an environment.
