The dentist and his assistant are okay, but the reason I would not recommend this office to my friends or colleagues is due to the lack of professionalism showed by his office staff. First, based on their publication, they were supposed to tell me the cost of the root canal procedure before starting. They did not. I did ask when making the appointment about whether they took MetLife, and they said no. But what they didn't tell me was that I would have to pay 100% of the bill because "they couldn't wait for a claim to be processed by MetLife". So I did pay the total bill of nearly $1300, in full. It has taken them 10 days to process the claim, not that I think they did after my 3rd phone call to them. Another issue I had with the office staff, and in actuality the dentist, is that when I called after being in extreme pain for a day and a half, I had to wait several hours before they got back to me with a prescription. Their initial response by the staff was, "why don't you just put ice on it?". I would not recommend this dentist solely on the fact that the office staff is unprofessional and incompetent. My holiday is pretty much ruined because of the $700 I could have used for gifts. Thanks for nothing..
I was recommended to DR. Streiter by my friend who is a Dentist. When I asked him for a recommendation because I needed root canal surgery, he said without hesitation, "DR. Streiter is, "the best". My appointment was at 9:45am. I walked in at 9:30 and was seated in the chair within 5 minutes. Dr. Streiter explained the entire procedure prior to starting. He took over an hour working on my tooth while the whole time he was explaining what he was doing. The best news is that during the procedure I was free of pain of course he uses plenty of novacane so your never feel a thing. He does, in my opinion perfect work, to my amazement I had zero pain once the novicane wore off. I was impressed during and after the surgery. DR. Streiter is simple the BEST. Is is a perfectionist!.
