1I wasted 4 hrs. At Lovett Dental in the Heights... what a rip off. I went in for a basic cleaning. Suspicious of the Groupon price, I asked if it was a typical ADA basic cleaning. That is scaling above the gum line followed by polishing. I was told, of course. When i arrived I asked again, same answer. After 60 minutes of sitting, x-rays, etc. I was finally in the chair. Another 30 minutes, all the time listening to the office staff gossip about their boyfriends... how their attitude wouldn\'t play. Dr. Kathrine Hoffman finally came to examine me... It was her winging about her man!? I asked about the basic cleaning and she also said we\'ll get to that shortly, but first the office admin. would come by with a comprehensive dental plan and estimate. 20 minutes later, I got a plan for Deep Cleaning, two fillings, and a crown, totaling $3,000! I didn\'t have the $$ for that. Dr. H said she would not do basic scaling without the $500 deep cleaning... Lied to me 3 times pathetic

1I'm 64 and have had dentures since my 20s...a lot of dentures made by a lot of dentists. Dr. Baker is the best. Kind,patient... and she knows her stuff, a true artist as well as a physician! And she really likes and cares about people.
