I thought when you get a total quote for pulling your teeth and they talk me into two implants along with the new denture for my lower jaw he gave me a total cost for the pulling of my lower teeth and two implants along with my new denture it wasn’t cheap but I agree to do it and that was to include what it takes from pulling my teeth, implants and the studs that the bottom denture snaps in to keep my denture in place Well guess what I got a bill for the studs that holds the denture in What is a total of everything that should be covered in the quote you would think it was $250.00 more doesn’t sound like much but it’s is to me when I told him to do the job that he told me it was going to cost me this amount and now I have an bill that is part of the quote It’s about like me wiring a house and leave out the cur. Breakers and then say I didn’t include them I don’t think it would fly with the home owner if I did that.
Dr. Pinter is an amazing dentist. I was terrified to go to the dentist due to past experiences, but he is amazing! I look forward to my cleanings now. My family of 5 has been going to Dr. Pinter for around 12 years now!.
Dr. Hamilton is very personable and caring. He does not do more work than is necessary and treats his clients with respect. I was impressed that he offered me the option of NOT having a shot when I had some minor work done. It went very well. No need for all that slobber and that numb face feeling the rest of the day if you can handle the work without it. ;-).
Honestly I do not understand the complaints here. My first visit I was sent to an Oral Surgeon because what I needed done was beyond a family dentist. They realized that it needed special work and instead of trying and causing more problems they sent me to someone that could get it all done in the first shot. Everyone has been very caring, kind and done everything in their power to get me in as fast as possible. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone..
Office manger does not have a clue what insurance they actually are signed up with! We had no dental insurance so I tried to buy a policy. I took a copy of the policy to them to be sure they accepted it and after she assured me they did, I signed up and bought the policy. Months later we found out they are NOT signed up with that particular plan so all our claims were denied. We spent over $500 for a yearly dental insurance policy and then they turned around and charged us full price for all the dental work so that was another $600. Wauseon Dental Group would not even agree to reduce our bill, even though they gave us bad information about the insurance that doubled our cost. Their bills are a joke also. They just send an "account balance" statement with no patient names, no dates of service, no payment instructions. Very unprofessional! I had to request an itemized bill just to understand what they were billing me for. Always a different dentist. I have not seen Dr. Pelok in years. They hire in other dentists to take his place so you never know who will actually check your teeth. Just to be clear, this bad review is for Wauseon Dental Group and it's office manager. I have not had a bad experience with Dr. Pelok himself. I agree, save yourself some time and trouble and look elsewhere!.
Nightmare: Horrible bedside manner resulted in half day of work missed and referral to another dentist. The smallest measure of reassurance from either the doctor or his assistant would have helped a very frightened seven year old girl. Instead, the staff expressed exasperation and were scolding. After three minutes, they gave up and referred me to another dentist. Save yourself some time and trouble and look elsewhere..
