6Dr. Haeri convinced me that I needed four fillings when I'd never had a cavity in my life. I should've gotten a second opinion but I was young and stupid and I'd had a recent gingivitis flare-up that was worrying me so I took her word for it -- even though she did little to explain the issue other than pointing repeatedly, with visible annoyance, at an xray that looked fine to me. To make it worse, she did a horrible job on the fillings themselves. Food got trapped between them constantly and they hurt to the point that I couldn't chew on that side of my mouth for the first 18 months they were in -- even though I went in for two follow-ups to have them touched up because of the pain. Now, two years later, two of the fillings have fallen out and my current dentist is being forced to drill again to fix her work, which he described as "just awful." And to make things even WORSE, go look at the reviews for her practice on Yelp. Roughly a dozen people have posted there with almost my exact story over the past couple of years. I'll never have my undrilled teeth back and I wish all the time that I'd never set foot in this office.
