My daughter is a patient at Cabarrus Pediatrics and we adore them, however, they do not do tongue tie releases at that location so they sent us to the Mooresville office. Upon arrival, we were told that this was not a painful procedure and that she would not even feel it. She did wonderful through the anesthesia administration and after, was again told that the worst part was over and she would not feel anything else. It is \"just like cutting your nails\" Dr. Thome said. Well, she could feel everything. She was laying on that table silently crying the entire time and instead of trying to help her, he would sternly say \"stop! You are fine!\" over and over. His bedside manner is absolutely horrible and he should not be allowed to work on children. 45 minutes later, a lot of blood, and too much pain for a child. He was finally done. He should have been honest from the beginning. This is how children develop fear of the dental office.

Very professional and ethical. He does not upsell or push treatments or services you dont need. He is very upfront and honest with how urgent you might need them.
