After spending $36 k on porcelain implants 5 years ago, I have 4 interior chips and most recent a front tooth chipped nearly 1/3 off on Nov 11th 2022 or so. Sent a pic to the office for repair and was offered to come in for impressions and my tooth on a set of 3 would have to be sent to the lab for analysis if it could be repaired. I replied to Barbs. email , could she instead send a pic to the lab and have them take a looksee and perhaps just set aside a quick turnaround repair over a couple days ? They are local, I've been there, easy peasy. ( You public audience should be aware that her plan of care seems to of been, Impressions/temp plastic replacement teeth/using a dent puller to pull my teeth off their glue/sending them to the lab for however how long /numerous visits mucho invasive procedures.) I didn't care what the charge was, my idea just seemed way less invasive. Barb messaged abruptly, she'd get back to me. ( It was just a polite question not a demand mind you... 4 WEEKS of crickets later I emailed any word yet? Barb. said 5 words, she would do a follow up/ no apologies. 1 WHOLE WEEK later {All this before upcoming holidays mind you} I asked what gives? I first received a condescending smart ass remark email and then minutes later an immediate 2nd email from Barb, one line answer, the tooth will cost $950 any questions call us. No included description of procedure or plan. It also appears Barb or her office may have soured my relationship with the local lab who initially made my teeth and I was in contact with. After she or her office talked to them, their tone with me changed allot.. I call that an Anti Trust infringement. They had a fiduciary responsibility to keep our interaction private. I then had to reply well enough to trigger Doctor Shuper to be brought in on it the mess,,, Hence, the doctor left a whats the matter message on my phone. I had no interest in a damage control phone call instead of an apology. This all became an inside condescending joke when it was supposed to be a fair visit for a good patient. These implants took like 10 months, I never complained. Look how easily these people dissed me. Shameful..
Never a wait, they know everyone by name, they are super accommodating when we lose a bracket or have any issue at all. A wonderful place, and I highly recommend it..
Dr. Markham is amazing! Staff are just as awesome. Everyone is very polite, gentle, great with kids and patient. I always feel welcome at her office..
My son was getting his bands changed and my daughter had a retainer check. Everybody is so nice in this office! I would recommend Dr. Markham to anyone looking for an excellent orthodontist!.
