F Nelson Clements DMD

I saw Dr. Clements for decades and I only stopped seeing him due to a move away from Valdosta. What a mistake that was! My teeth were in good condition, but thanks to a dentist who did no preventative dentistry, I am now needing dentures. I will see Dr. Clements again, for his opinion, although the damage is done. My current dentist ignored teeth that needed cavities, for over 5 years now. I switched dentists but the result was the same. It was obvious that both dentists wanted easy money, instead of actually doing any work. I am being pushed to buy snap on dentures that require four posts that go into the jaw bone, at a cost of $4,000 each. This does not include the dentures, lab work, dentist fees, etc. This is just for the upper denture! This news came one appointment after I expressed concern that I might need dentures. This second dentist said: “No Alan, you have plenty of good teeth!” He even spoke of setting up a cleaning appointment. At the next appointment, he plopped down snap on dentures and said that I needed them! I reminded him of what he said before and after looking at his feet, he suggested $350 of X-Rays, to probably tell me the same thing. I was to be texted about the appointment date and that was 6 months ago, with no text. I suppose he decided to go after a different fool.
