Dr. Erin Reilly, DDS

Seen at Siebenthaler Dental, put crown crooked,Lg. food trap& left decay under. Her senior partner was going to re-do it but changed his mind, destroyed good 1 beside it .Lasted 2.5 yrs vs avg 10 yrs for a crown; not even a true crown, told by other dentists since it didnt cover the sides yet it cost as much as any crown. The healthy tooth next to it they destroyed instead. So sad.Mostly watches TV soaps while working. Works at 3 other places. Censured 2017 by OH Board,so resticted her practice..

Aspen Dental

After my experience at Aspen Dental I am no longer nervous to go to the dentist. The positive experience started right from my first phone call to the University Parkway office. I needed a filling replaced as soon as possible because I knew my dental insurance was getting ready to expire due to a job change and my recent relocation. When I explained my needs to Kaetina on the telephone she immediately scheduled my appointment for the next day and she also made arrangements to have my file, treatment plan and x-rays transferred electronically from the other Aspen Dental office where I had started my treatment the month before. What a time saver for me! All I had to do was show up the next morning at 9am. When I arrived I was greeted by Kaetina’s smiling face and made to feel welcome immediately. I did not have to wait to be taken back and it seemed obvious to me that they had taken the time to prepare for the clients that were on the day’s schedule in advance. It was refreshing to be treated as a person and to be asked about my move to Sarasota before discussing the next steps in my treatment. Let me pause here to mention that the entire practice is kept immaculately clean. That is so important to me. I would not stay in an office where there was any question as to the hygienic practices of the staff. Dr. Randall Rodriguez-Torres took time to introduce himself and review my current treatment plan to be sure that he agreed with the next steps to be taken. He made me comfortable when I explained my aversion to needles. Really who isn’t afraid of a needle in their mouth? The doctor made me laugh and feel secure before he worked quickly and painlessly to numb me up and get the filing changed. What was the most impressive thing for me during that visit was that he did not over-medicate me. Have you ever left the dentist office and had half of your face numb, drool running down your chin and you were unable to eat for 6 hours? I guess I assumed that was normal before being treated by Dr. Rodriguez-Torres. Not only was I walking out the door at 10am (yeah that is right, already checked out and leaving in one-hour due to the efficiency of the smiling office manager Brent Simpson) but I was no longer numb and was able to have breakfast immediately. This office runs so smoothly. Everyone I met was pleasant and smiling. If there is stress happening there among the staff members, which seems doubtful, you would never know it. They all seemed to truly like working with one another and it shows in how they treat their patients. I was so impressed that I made an appointment to have my teeth ZOOM whitened the next week (next review to follow), scheduled my next cleaning and I brought my sister in to get her dental plan started too. Whether you have a dentist in Sarasota or you are looking for one, you owe it to yourself and your mouth to make an appointment to come into Aspen Dental on University Parkway in Sarasota. Once you experience the difference between a real team of dental professionals who truly care about their patient’s dental care and needs you will never want to go anywhere else. I am so happy I have taken time out of my day to write not only this review, but also one for Bing and Google as well as posting a review on Facebook too. I could not be happier and more importantly healthier after being treated at Aspen Dental..
