Turner Family Dentistry has been a surprisingly pleasant. I went to them knowing I needed work done and dreading what the dentist would say. They have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and explain things that they will be doing in a comprehensible manner. I have no reservation sending family and friends to this practice. They are competent friendly people from the front desk to the patient chair.

Dr. Turner told me my 13 year old daughter (who has never had a cavity) had a lot of cavities, including 2 very bad ones. He told me he needed to take x-rays because her teeth were so bad. He offered to show me the "bad cavity" on the x-ray & when I didn't see it, he said I wasn't used to looking at x-rays. My daughter was very upset after the check up because she had so many cavities and was scared it would hurt to get them filled. She also told me the hygienist stabbed her in the gums numerous times and the dentist hurt her when he was poking at her teeth. He must have poked really hard because he told us all of her tooth surfaces were "sticky" which means she has cavities in most of them. I got a 2nd opinion from her orthodontist, and she didn't see any cavities. I got a 3rd opinion from another dentist. After examining her teeth and looking at the x-rays, she said she didn't have any cavities. Don't trust Dr. Turner. If he tells you that you have a cavity or you need a root canal, please get a 2nd opinion from a dentist you can trust.
