Powell DDS Laurri Virginia

Virginia Powell is an extraordinarily skillful technical dentist. Her work is absolutely top-shelf. But what is truly exceptional about her practice is her caring and considerate manner that puts patients at ease and allows them to make considered judgements about care. She is especially gifted as a child's dentist--sensitive and caring, authoritative when she needs to be. It is no accident that she is the dentist of choice for parents choosing for their children. In my case, Virginia was faced with a senior with all his original teeth, but most of them with fillings that were failing, tooth walls that were cracking, and gums that were receding. I never knew that seniors could benefit from fluoride treatment. I learned to floss more regularly under her care. And believe it or not, at age 70 I still have every one of my original chompers--much repaired & crowned as they are. I have been lucky in my life to have had great care from a series of dentists, beginning with Dr. Belen, in Dearborn Michigan who did not believe in anesthesia and sometimes pulled teeth with his fingers.
