Spring Dental

Let me preface this review with I have started dental school since I went to this dental clinic, so I understand much more about dentistry now than when I was a patient. So first, my impressions without any dental knowledge: spent a TON of time in the waiting room for my visits. I understand things happen, but this was over several visits so it seems to be the trend of running 30+ minutes behind schedule. Secondly, the dentist was very impersonal and didn't seem to take the time to know me as a person. I was just a set of teeth to him. He didn't even introduce himself when he entered the operatory. He was also unwilling to redo shoddy work when HE chose the wrong shade (more on that in a minute.) Now that I know more about dentistry, I know how bad this guy really was. I had two composite fillings done on number 9 (one of my top front teeth) and 24 (lower central incisor) to repair some chips. The bottom filling looked okay in the operatory, but looks TERRIBLE in sunlight because the wrong shade was selected. He refused to redo it when I asked after seeing it in the sunlight because I had agreed to the shade in his dimly lit operator. They teach you in school to always make sure the composite filling looks good in natural sunlight. The top composite is the right shade, but I can feel the margins with my tongue. This should not be the case. You should be able run your tongue along and not feel a click when going from tooth to composite. This has created a "plaque trap" that is difficult to clean with a toothbrush and leads to recurrent decay which is a nice way of saying a cavity under the filling that he put in. If I did either of these things in the OU dental school clinic, I would have to redo both of them. That means the quality you would get from an inexperienced student would be better than this guy. Not impressed. I would never go back, and I will have his shoddy work replaced by my clinic partner as soon as I can.

Dr. Lind is the beat dentist around...I\'ve been a dental assistant for 30 years and had the opportunity to work with him as a temp fdental assistant..for about a year or so...don\'t listen to haters...I know he is the best because I worked closely with him.. The sterilization area is like a surgical process center...I will never go anywhere else to have work done or my teeth cleaned...if u want the best fo to Dr. Lind...A+++++++++
