I had been taking my daughter to another pediatric dentist who was terrible. Aside from being rude and insulting to me, she was incompetent. She pointed out that my daughter had 3 permanent teeth that "would be getting cavities." She said it accusingly and matter-of-factly, as if there were nothing to be done about it. She never even mentioned the possibility of sealing them to prevent the cavities. When I took my daughter to Dr. Lee, and he examined her, he said, "She has 3 permanent teeth that need to be sealed." He wasn't accusatory. He did the 3 sealings and 2 baby-teeth fillings on the same day, and my daughter had no problems. She hates shots, doctors, and dentists especially, but somehow Dr. Lee was able to do all that work, which included novocaine shots, and my daughter was fine with it. In fact, she said, "Mommy, I can't wait to go back to Dr. Lee. He is so nice!" At age 7, she has never said that about any doctor or dentist ever. He has cartoon videos playing directly above the patient's face, with headphones on so all the kid hears is the cartoon. There's rarely any wait time in his office. One day, I called there on a Wednesday, not realizing that they were closed on Wednesdays, and Dr. Lee answered the phone himself. He spent a good 10 minutes on the phone with me, discussing my daughter's situation with no charge. I found him online based on all the good reviews, and I just had to add mine to the list. Dr. Lee is THE BEST!!!.
