Best Dentist In City - Dr. Kalpana Kaveti, DMD

Dr. Noah Seymore III, DDS

I was seen by Dr. Butchert and his amazing hygienist, Meg. I have been a former patient of Megs at a different location for many years. I was excited to have her continue my routine care as she does such a fabulous job with no only myself but my family as well! I can't wait to go back and catch up!.

Staff and the doctor are all friendly and knowledgable, and listen carefully to what you want (especially in regards to cosmetic dentistry). Love the crowns!.

Dr. Julien Warren III, DDS

We were passing through on holidays and Dr. Henson saw my husband who was experiencing terrible pain. We were back on the road within three hours and able to enjoy the rest of our holiday. What friendly, helpful people we were fortunate to find. And a beautiful little city to boot..

New Bern

"Quilting is stupid" - at least that's what the owner implied on my first and last visit to this fabric store and Bernina dealer. I called the day before driving an hour and a half to visit this store to make sure they had in stock a special foot for my machine. I told the owner I would be there the next day. When I arrived, the owner had no idea how to work the foot. I took her 20 minutes of fumbling around to finally get it fitted to the machine. While she was fumbling around, she proceeded to tell me how she though quilting was "boring and repetitious" and that she couldn't understand why someone would want to make quilts instead of something to wear. She then implied that she agreed with a Bernina dealer she met at a show who said that 'quilting was stupid - why would someone take such beautiful fabrics and cut them into such tiny pieces just to make sure the points match up...' she mockingly said. Unbelievable. I am an avid quilter and don't enjoy being insulted when shopping for expensive products for my machine and fabrics for my projects. When she finally got the foot fitted, she had no idea how to work it. She let me try it out, and I could not either. It wasn't until I got home and watched a video tutorial that I saw how easy it was to feed the fabric through the machine for the foot to work properly. A simple note for the owner: don't insult your patrons and know your products. My experience at the Fabric Center was awesome! All my questions were answered, she was so helpful. Im going back to ask for help with my sewing machine, I'll let everyone know how it goes...I'm optimistic :-).

New Bern Fabric Center is a cornerstone of support, supplies, and classes in the New Bern area. The sales people are helpful and informative. Karen is so patient as I learn the new software, version 6. Despite my many, many years of sewing/quilting, I have taken smocking classes, Bernina webinars, sewing/quilting classes and have continued learning and updating my skills. You couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable staff. Servicing my machine through the store is outstanding. I have had some awful problems happen as I learned the machine embroidery side and James has always been able to figure out what I did and most importantly how to fix it. You can't be talking about the same fabric/quilting store! I would be lost without the New Bern Fabric Center.
