I needed a root canal, and my dentist scheduled one here, with Dr. Schwarze. Prior to my visit I was told by Hill Country Endodontics that my insurer (Delta Dental) would cover 80% of the $1551.00. Delta Dental paid $636.20, and I\'m stuck with the rest. Not good, especially when I call in advance to get an estimate. Lady I spoke with at HCE said she wasn\'t aware of what was \"allowed limit\" to charge by DD for this common procedure. Apparently the charges at Hill Country Endodontics are considerably beyond the allowed charge amounts of a major insurer.
