Smiles By Beck

Are you the grandson of Dr. Beck who practiced dentistry in Tallahassee in 1948? While in high school in Crawfordville, A doctor Beck was my dentist. This was before and during the time of his moving his practice to the Lively Technical School area. Partials were the way to go then if you had ignored your teeth in the early years. Dr. Beck knew that I could not afford partials, but needed them and he needed the practice. The partials served me well for many years.

Called to make an appointment for tooth cleaning with Marci Beck, was told the only available was with Brian Beck on Feb 12, checked my schedule and called back 10 min. later and got another staff member and tried to set the appointment, she said there was no appointment available Feb 12, it would be April 13, this was at about 5 PM. I called the next morning to set the appointment and I was told they were only taking appointments for June. Staff needs to communicate and get on the same page.

Sat for 3 hours after being placed in a procedure room. I was about to leave, when he finally came in to set my crown. He offered no apology for wasting 1/2 of my day, and was very curt. The crown has sharp edges that he never smoothed down. Altogether, very disappointing experience.

I was in desperate need in of a root canal. Dr. Bailey met with me on the weekend and took care of it quickly. I was not sore the next day and did not need pain meds after...wow. Great work!
