I have bruxism, and saw Dr. McGuire after my jaw locked up. He built a hard-plastic apparatus that inserts between my front teeth to stop up/down clinching... with NO REGARD for left/right (sideways) clinching. That night the apparatus chipped FIVE lower, front teeth and Dr. McGuire refused to address it and just walked out of the room.
