1quick and impersonal. Double charged on x-rays and bite wings. After disputing the x-ray charges, they re-coded the procedure and wouldn't change the charge to the insurance company. I felt as if this was a factory, not a professional dentist.

1I was referred to Dr. Jeffrey Meckler for an emergency root canal on April 30, 2020. Prior to the appointment I checked with Eva in his office to see if my insurance would cover the procedure. Unfortunately, it would not. I explained that due to the Shelter in Place Order I could not work and had been waiting 7 weeks to hear from unemployment. I told her I was unable to keep the appointment because I could not pay for it. Two hours later she called me back and said \" Please come in Dr. Meckler would like to perform your root canal Pro-Bono.\" I was moved to tears! Upon meeting Dr. Meckler I was overwhelmed with emotion and asked him if there was anyway I could repay him. He modestly replied; \"I just want to help.\" During these difficult times we think of First Responders and Hospital workers yet here is a wonderful Endodontist wanting to make a difference in our community. I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Meckler and his staff.
