Best, most gentle, most compassionate, caring individuals in a dentist office around. I started going to this dentist a few years ago after having been at the same dentist for over 20 years. I had bad dental experiences as a child and really hated going to the dentist. My dentist retired so I had to find a new dentist. He referred me to Dr. Bob, a.k.a. Dr. Robert Brandhorst, he's soft-spoken, tender, gentle, etc. he has a very calming effect. I haven't run into any staff there that I don't like. They all seem to take on the same temperament as Dr. Bob. They have a new woman dentist here. I can't recall her name but I did get a crown put on by her a couple of months ago. She was super efficient. I've had a few crowns in the past and usually they seem to take a long time and the molds are miserable to have done. between her and the tech they did a fast efficient job probably one of the best most efficient. Quick caps I've ever had put on. I highly recommend this dentist especially if you're fearful of a dentist. I love coming here to get my teeth cleaned. The woman that cleans my teeth again very similar to Dr. Bob super kind, super gentle and caring. They have this amazing ultrasonic water pic that they use instead of so much scraping. It takes all the color stains from coffee or tea off your teeth and it's very gentle. I'm so glad I found this place a several years ago with my dentist retired. One thing because they are so well liked it. Does take some time to get an appointment in but it's worth the wait. Once you're in just start scheduling your appointments a year out then you don't have to worry about getting in..
He is very arrogant and extremely unprofessional. Husband and I were his patients for about 2 yrs. during that time he made me a set of upper and lower partials they look horrible the bottom ones do not fit properly, the teeth are the wrong color and are very noticeable, when the problems were brought to his attention his response was You will get used to them There isn't enough room to tell everything he did. He's offensive & he did more damage then good! He is a lousy dentist and very rude..
The first time I went to this Dr. He and his staff pushed for me to whiten my teeth. When I went back for a follow up,the Dr hovered over me before my teeth had even been cleaned bc he wAnted to leave early. The Dr. Poked around for a few minutes-2 mintues tops, didnt even look at the x-rays then proceeded to tell me that he now does BOTOX. He told me he had great deals and that he was going to give me some extra cards to pass out to people who needed it. REALLY?!.
When asking questions about possible treatment, Dr. Artl threw a fit, told me that he went to school, and said that if I didn't do what he said, he would not take me as a patient. He could have pointed to my x-rays and explained himself like a true professional. His Porsche out front with the vanity plates should have been my first sign,,,,.
I usually hate going to the dentist but have never had any problems with this amazing staff. Great place and even better people..
