The Doc has treated me for PTSD and panic disorder. He was very helpful when no one else was.

Not helpful. I am looking for a smoking cessation program or support group and had made an inquiry to Baystate Behavioral Health. Higgins office called me back, without identifying who they were and started asking a series of very personal questions. after a few questions, I stopped them and asked who are you and what services are you offering. She then made it clear I would be seeing Dr Higgins. I asked what was his methodology and did extend beyond pharmaceuticals and was there any support group. She would not answer any of my questions and I was told I would would have to come in for an intake appointment. I explained I have Multiple Sclerosis and was very medication sensitive and also had limited energy to get out to my already long list of Doctors as a plea to understand his methodology to save my valuable and limited energy. She refused to answer. I have learned the value of screening Doctors before investing my time. Can\'t speak to efficacy but red warning lights are aglow.
