I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. My experience was so poor I can't believe that the last review was an actual patient. Basically, I saw Woodard from my mid-teens until my mid-twenties for cleanings, fillings etc... I did not have any outright "bad" experiences with his staff but they always came across as this weird mix of snide and artificially cheerful, I overheard the assistants speaking badly about patients on more than one occasion ("and she wonders why her teeth are rotting out" and that kind of thing, within earshot of patients), Dr Woodard was also condescending and snobby, for example I'd mentioned to the assistant that I was living with my parents at 19 and he interrupted to ask why my dad hadn't kicked me out yet, really ridiculous and rude. Talked non-stop about his kids to the assistants every single time I was having some procedure done, which always made me nervous, felt like something that should have been saved for breakroom conversation and not in the middle of a medical procedure involving drills in my face. Around the time I was 21-22, my jaw was constantly aching, it woke me up in the morning every morning, I went in for x-rays and he basically glanced at my mouth and told me I have a condition called "TMJ" which is characterized by constant and unexplainable low-grade jaw pain. I did not believe that I had developed a mystery pain disease so I went to another dentist and was shocked at a COMPLETELY different experience. They were all friendly, warm, seemed very genuine and helpful about any concerns I had, they were 100% focused on me during every exam and procedure (absolutely none of the constant nervewracking breakroom chat, the dentist only spoke to ask if I felt anything), their equipment was miles better, their exams were very thorough and involved x-rays, oral cameras etc (whereas a few glances had been enough for Woodard)... and, surprise, my "TMJ" that I had been putting up with for a year was actually about six cavities that were not visible (but would have been clearly visible in an x-ray or on a camera) due to being inbetween several molars. Still can't believe how incompetent Woodard was, my new dentist was also very surprised and not impressed that something so simple (and painful) was overlooked due to sloppy, minimal exams. If you want a good clinic try Avenue Dental, I will never go anywhere else after seeing the difference between good/bad dentistry.
