I found Dr. Stern from my dental insurance directory two years ago. I picked him because of the close distance to our home. I'm in my early 40's and have seen at least a dozen of dentists in my lifetime. Dr. Sylvan is the only one who had ultimately corrected the problem with my bite. I used to grind my teeth heavily while asleep or awake. I also had discomfort while eating, chewing, or even just talking. It was almost constant that I didn't think about it anymore. However, it has also caused the unsightly & unpleasant recession to several of my teeth. Dr. Sylvan had properly fixed the bad angle my teeth were creating that had forced my jaws to be misaligned. That pain and sometimes even clicking in my jaws are gone for good. The bite correction had brought me finally a lasting relief from pain. All I wanted was to make sure that I & the rest of my family have good healthy teeth, but Dr. Stern & his team of professionals have far exceeded my expectations.
