I am a nurse anesthetist. When I heard from my husband that I was a wicked snorer, I knew that I needed a jaw thrust in order to open my airway as I slept. I heard about Dr. Wightman and decided to give his idea a try. I absolutely loved my experience with Dr. Wightman!!! He gave me literature to read, took his time and answered all my questions. The first night I wore it, I awoke with significant discomfort in my left jaw. Dr. Wightman made a simple adjustment and since then, my TMJ is just fine. But most important, is the fact that I no longer snore. My husband is thrilled! I had a sleep study performed, wearing my Mandibular Repositioning Device and is was normal! Praise God! Now when my high school girlfriends and I travel on our yearly get-togethers, I won't be banned to the basement! :O)
