We recently pulled both of our children from this practice for the same reason that several other reviewers have noted. Our 5 year old had an excellent exam (complimented on how clean her teeth were), but then they looked at the x-rays and found very small, microscopic cavities. Dr. Sarraf claimed that my 5 year old needed to be put under general anesthesia at the hospital and that several teeth (baby teeth!) needed crowns. She started by claiming there were 8 cavities, but when I politely questioned her she became visibly angry and then claimed there were 12 cavities. Estimate was $2,000. I then took my daughter to my dentist, who reviewed the x-rays and her teeth and said their proposal was outrageous. He said nothing needed to be done. The cavities were extremely small and required no action, much less crowns and general anesthesia. It has now been 6 months and she is fine. Camps dental center, and Sarraf in particular, are either incompetent (which I doubt) or interested in maximizing profit (quite likely). I will spend whatever money necessary if my kids truly need it. But to traumatize little kids with unnecessary medical procedures is outrageous. We had stuck with this place after they had earlier failed to respond to multiple emergency calls for my older daughter (fortunately, she ended up being fine, but we did not know it at the time of the calls), but this was the last straw.

My daughter and I had a very pleasant experience at Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center. Everyone was so warm and inviting from the moment we walked in, throughout the appointment and as we were exiting the practice. My tot needs a lot of work done and I can't thank Dr. Moriarty and dental hygienist Ms. Jyenel enough for displaying such patience and care when examining my baby. I am very impressed with the way were treated and I have every confidence that my daughter's upcoming procedure will go smoothly. I will recommend Dr. Camps' practice to everyone I know. Children are in excellent hands here!
