Please save yourself AGONY hundreds of dollars and weeks of time Do not have this dentist preform a root canal I learned the hard way.
10 months to do a root canal, kept prescribing antibiotics when finally I forced them to extract the tooth. He didn't numb me all the way and LEFT TOOTH BEHIND! Staff is rude and I was hung up on multiple times while trying to get appointments! Looking into suing..
I saw him for several years. I have since moved. He performed 3 root canals. He left me never wanting to see a dentist again. Finally I have found a new dentist who is fixing ALL the work he messed up. Dr Balsh was rude and made me feel like a problem patient even though HE was making his own problems!! If I could sue, I would. Still looking into it..
I went in for a cleaning. Did I leave with a cleaning? No, I left with two appointments for a 200$ cleaning after I was told I could not have a normal cleaning that my insurance covers. Also, I paid for the set of x rays and exam. I have PPO and should not have paid. Bad experience!.
IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! I have dental insurance with co-pay. Had appointment for so called deep cleaning. Usually takes about 45 minutes if done well. This time it was about how can we make more money from this patient. First it was Xrays again which is billed to the insurance company. Then it was "do you want a fluoride Treatment? Only $40.00 more. NO for the third time! How about oral cancer check only $25.00 more? NO for the third time! Then it was see the dentist to get looked.So my teeth cleaning appointment consisted of 60 minutes with trying to sell me extras and less than 10 minutes actually cleaning my teeth, with some teeth NEVER touched! Still had to pay the large co-pay for the cleaning. So they use my cleaning time for the dentist and xrays which are billed to insurance and spend less than 10 minutes cleaning my teeth but make me pay for literally nothing! Time for a change!.
1st visit eased my worries. They were all very nice and explained the step by step process..
